			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>&#8220;The University of Miami has earned the No. 1 national seed for the 64-team NCAA <a href="http://www.softballbatsonly.com">baseball</a> tournament that begins Friday at 16 regional sites, the NCAA Division I baseball committee announced Monday.</p>
<p>This marks the first time since 1999 that UM has been the top seed. That year the Hurricanes went on to win their third national title. They won the College World Series again in 2001. UM also won national titles in 1982 and 1985.&#8221;</p>
